While it didn't actually earn $1 million this weekend, Million Dollar Baby did top the per theatre charts with an average of $21,066, while fellow Oscar hopeful, Hotel Rwanda, came in second place with a respectable $14,299 average in 7 theatres. Rounding out the $10,000 club was overall box office champion, Meet the Fockers with $13,110.

This past week also saw some milestones reached for several Per Theatre Charts alumnus:

• A Very Long Engagement is having trouble maintaining its per theatre average while it is expanding its theatre count. However, it was still able to make it to $1 million over the weekend.
• After spending 5 weeks in the $10,000 club, Bad Education finally had its first serious expansion and that helped the film top $1 million early in the weekend.
• House of Flying Daggers made it to $2 million during the mid-week and will undoubtedly cross a few more milestones before its run is done.
