Deep Sea 3-D is the latest IMAX Edutainment film. While it started slower than expected, it has held on well, recently crossing $5 million in box office receipts. This puts its on pace to top Magnificent Desolation, which is itself poised to reach $10 million shortly.

Also reaching a major milestone this weekend was Pulse: A Stomp Odyssey, which topped $10 million after three and a half years of release.

Other recent news: V for Vendetta opened in 56 IMAX theatres earning $1.36 million during its opening weekend.
