Fox studios released the romantic comedy Down With Love in one theater one week early, and it earned $45,029 to lead the Per Theater Average chart. Next week it expands to approximately 2,200 theaters.

In second place for the second week in a row was Spellbound; the documentary about the National Spelling Bee Championship saw its average increase by $81 to $17,589.
