The Screen Actors Guild nominations handed out the hardware tonight and there were five winners amongst the six theatrical awards.

The categories and nominations are...

Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Leading Role

• Julie Christie for Away from Her

• Daniel Day-Lewis for There Will Be Blood

• Javier Bardem for No Country for Old Men

• Ruby Dee for American Gangster

• No Country for Old Men

• The Bourne Ultimatum

• No Country for Old Men was the only repeat winner on the theatrical side.
• Very few surprises tonight and I expect the Oscars to award a lot of the same people.
• I would say Ruby Dee's win over Cate Blanchett is the biggest surprise of the night and it is not that shocking.
