Almost no new releases were able to reach the top 30 on the sales chart this week, but we did have a new number one as 21 led the way with $11.20 million in sales from 585,000 units. Last week's number one film, Step Up 2 The Streets, fell to second place with 186,000 units sold for the week and 790,000 in total, which represents revenue of $13.73 million. The Bank Job remained in third place with 167,000 units for sales of 511,000 units / $10.29 million. College Road Trip was right behind with 165,000 units and just under $3.00 million in sales for the week for totals of 604,000 units and $11.03 million. The only other new release to reach the top five was Robot Chicken - Star Wars with 93,000 units / $931,000 in sales, which is very strong for this type of release and this time of year.

The only other new release to chart was also a TV on DVD release, as Spaced - The Complete Series opened in 15th place with 44,000 units sold. However, it placed fifth with $1.77 million in opening week sales.
