There were only a trio of new releases to chart this week, including Nim's Island, which earned first place. This pushed 21 into second place while Harold & Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay was close behind in third place. In fourth place was The Bank Job, the oldest release in the top five. Rounding out the top five was Doomsday, which barely outpaced Never Back Down.

The two other new releases that charted this week were Starship Troopers 3 - Marauders in 12th place and The Counterfeiters in 17th place.
