There were no marquee new releases this week, which left Nim's Island in first place on the rental chart, although both Smart People and 21 were very close behind. Harold & Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay was well back in fourth place during its fourth week of release. Coincidentally, The Bank Job landed in fifth place during its fifth week of release and has become a solid hit on the home market.

Just missed the top five was the direct-to-DVD release, The Art of War II - Betrayal, which landed in sixth. Another couple of direct-to-DVD releases were the only other new entries in the top 30 as Felon placed 11th and The Secret placed 17th.
