Tropic Thunder topped the rental charts, generating about 20% more revenue than fellow new release WALL-E, which placed second. Kung Fu Panda held on well to slip a spot to third while Hellboy II - The Golden Army fell from first to fourth. Get Smart rounded out the top five.

Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants 2 just missed the top five while the only other new release to chart this week was the direct-to-DVD release, The Clique.
