This week on the rental charts we have late releases from the week of the 16th, all the releases from the week of the 23rd, and early releases from the 30th. The number on rental for the week was Burn After Reading, which generated about a sixth more revenue than second place Death Race. The Dark Knight eased into second place, just a fraction ahead of both Eagle Eye and Mamma Mia!.

The rest of the new releases include The House Bunny in 12th place during its first full week of release, while The Women landed in 14th place, also during its first full week of release. Ghost Town and The Duchess were releases late in the week placing 18th and 20th respectively. The only release from the 23rd to make any noise was Pulse 3, which still missed the top 30.
