Lakeview Terrace repeated on top of the rental chart this week, despite there being four new releases trying to cram into the top five. This week it was a close race as it earned just over 10% more than the second place Madagascar 2 - Escape to Africa. The Secret Life of Bees placed third, just ahead of the only other new release in the top five, Max Payne. Rounding out the top five was Zack and Miri Make a Porno while Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist just missed that mark landing in sixth place.

Overall the rental market was down 21% from the same weekend last year at $166 million. But with the number one film being a kids movie, which tends to do very well in sales and not so much in rentals, this is not a terrible result.
