The overall box office leader, Madea Goes to Jail, was also the leader on the Per Theater Chart with an average of $20,192. The only other member of the $10,000 club was Gomorrah, which barely managed that feat with an average of $10,087 over the weekend.

Other new releases include Dehli 6 with $6,698, which is great for a release like this. On the other hand, 11 Minutes failed to crack four digits with just $918. However, it is coming out of TV about the same time it was released, so there's no surprise people would rather see it in the comfort of their own homes.

This past week also saw milestones reached for a few Per Theater Chart alumni:

• The Class topped $1 million early in the weekend, and it should reach $2 million before too long.
• The Wrestler reached $20 million over the weekend, but without Oscar wins, it is going to taper off from now on. (On the other hand, it was the big winner at the Independent Spirit Awards.)
• The Reader did take home an Oscar, and that could help it go well beyond the $20 million it has now.
• Slumdog Millionaire hit $90 million since last week, and now sits just ahead of Yes Man and just below You Don't Mess With the Zohan on the yearly chart.
