Oscar Prediction: Best Song
|
Note: This article is part of our preview of the 2004 Oscars.
For our predictions on this year's Oscar, please visit our current Oscars page.
Today's Oscar prediction is for one of the more minor categories, which are often harder to predict than the big awards.
But this year, Numbers readers seem to be of one accord on the song destined to pick up the Oscar.
Another strong prediction for Lord of the Rings, with Into the West gaining over 80% of the votes so far.
A Kiss at the End of the Rainbow from A Mighty Wind looks like the dark horse here, and could actually pull off a surprise if the academy feels it's time to recognize the mockumentary format in some small way.
Personally, Eugene Levy and Catherine O'Hara's performance of A Kiss at the End of the Rainbow could be one of the highlights of the night, regardless of whether it wins the award.
