Dora the Explorer: Dora's Ballet Adventure - Buy from Target

The latest Dora the Explorer DVD to hit the home market is actually a Target exclusive, but will it have the same value as the regular releases?

The Show

  1. Dora's Ballet Adventure
Dora's dance class is doing a recital in front of all the kids' family, and Dora is the lead. As the kids are getting ready, the Delivery Duck arrives with their ballet slippers, but to their horror, he's brought scuba flippers instead. You can't dance in flippers, so Dora and Boots are off to retrieve the slippers so the show can go on.
  2. Dora, La Musico
The townsfolk are having a music festival but Senior Shush hates all of the noise, so he locks up the instruments in a music box that can only be opened with music. But since they have no instruments, they can't make any music. (I guess singing doesn't count. Or tapping out a beat.) So Dora and Boots head over there and make music with their flute and maracas.
  3. The Super Silly Fiesta
I reviewed this episode was part of the Dora re-releases last month.
  4. Surprise
It's Boot's birthday and Dora is throwing a party for him. Dora and Boots will need your help to get to her house as fast as possible. But since they are carrying his birthday cake with them, you know Swiper is going to show up and try and spoil things.

The Extras

There are no extras on the DVD.

The Verdict

Dora the Explorer: Dora's Ballet Adventure has no extras and one of the three episodes has already been released on DVD. On the other hand, the price per minute is reasonable for these releases and if you don't have these four episodes, the DVD is worth picking up.
