Dora the Explorer: Dora's Fantastic Gymnastics Adventure - Buy from Amazon

With the Olympics apparently underway, Dora the Explorer has a Fantastic Gymnastics Adventure. While it is not directly related to the Olympics, gymnastics is certainly one of the most popular sports. Will kids excited to see the gymnasts perform in London also want to check out this DVD?

The Show

  1. Dora's Fantastic Gymnastics Adventure
There's a big gymnastics show and Dora will open the show with a special ribbon dance. After the delivery duck gives her her special rainbow ribbon, Swiper swipes the Rainbow Ribbon and throws it... all the way to the gym. ... which is where the gymnastics show is happening. So really he was helping make sure it got to where it needed to go. Even so, Dora and Boots have to get to the gymnasium, and they will need your help to get there.
  2. A Ribbon for Pinto
Dora and Boots are excited to watch their friend, Pinto, compete in the horse show. Pinto wants to win his first ribbon. However, the train that was supposed to deliver ribbons breaks down, so Dora, Boots, and Pinto will have to deliver them, if they can stop Swiper from swiping them. On a side note, every time Pinto said, "neigh", it sounded like he was saying, "nay". 'Pinto, can you help carry the ribbons?' 'Nay.' 'Okay. We will ask someone else then.'
  3. Swiper's Favorite Things
Dora and Boots are getting ready for a sleepover when they hear someone yelling for help. It's Swiper. He was packing to go to his grandmother's house for a sleepover, but after getting all packed, all of stuff was blown away by the wind. Dora and Boots offer to help find them. At least he promises not to swipe anything while they look. It's a hard promise for him to keep.

The Extras

There are no extras on the DVD.

The Verdict

Dora the Explorer: Dora's Fantastic Gymnastics Adventure is typical of most recent Dora the Explorer releases. There are three episodes, but no extras, for $13, which is a little high on a price-per-minute basis. However, if you like the previous releases, this is inline with those.
