The Oscars have been awarded, the competition votes have been tallied, and we're ready to announce the winners in our annual Predict the Academy Awards contest. As usual, a lot of correct predictions were required to win a prize, but this year we had a seven-way tie at the top, so the final top two places had to be determined by time of entry for the contestants. Read on to see the winners and to see how you did in the contest.
And the winners are:
First Place Winner: Preston Nicholson wins all nine Best Picture nominees on DVD or Blu-ray, with 21 correct predictions submitted on February 18.
Second Place Winner: Jacob wins Argo and Brave on DVD or Blu-ray, also with 21 correct predictions, but submitted at 11am on February 20.
We'll be contacting Preston and Jacob soon to set up delivery of their prizes. Congratulations to everyone who entered, and particularly to the five others who scored 21 out of 24.
