Beowulf & Grendel
Current Content: The site has a lot of lesser used features like storyboards, production journals, making of featurette, and more. In fact, the site has a definite, 'Work in progress' feel to it. Partially because there's not a whole lot of the regular features there, but mainly because of the focus on the behind the scenes of the movie shoot. If they maintain a regular update schedule, this could be a fun site to surf to.


The Cookout
Current Content: This site is a bit of a puzzle, it has plenty of animation, but practically no sound. And it really could have used some sound effects, audio clips, background music, whatever. All it does have it a dog barking and some music for the game you can play. Granted, the section for the soundtrack is still marked coming soon, so there is a chance background music will be added, but with the movie opening tomorrow, it's leaving it a little late.


Dig!
Current Content: The film is a documentary about two bands and their diverging paths, so it should go without saying that the site has great background music. It's not just a clip, or even a couple of clips, it's several full songs. Awesome. There are so many songs that by the time you finish reading / watching the content on the site you won't have listened to them all. Also worth noting, the sections for characters and sights and sounds are still marked coming soon. On a side note, I the use of the term, 'characters' for a documentary. It's like the makers of the film are saying, 'They're not real human beings, just musicians.'


Evergreen
Current Content: Simple site without sound or animation. It does all the usual features including a rather long section for cast and crew bios.


The Forgotten
Current Content: The production notes were added to the site, as was the section called, "Altered States." In that section we learn about the film including the inspiration, a dream the screenwriter had. Also added were the cast and crew bios, complete with animated intros. This leaves just the character bios marked coming soon.


The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy
Current Content: The first chapter of Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy is now available for download as a .pdf file. One of the funniest novels I've ever read and I'd recommend it to anyone.


The Incredibles
Current Content: Two TV Spots and two images were added to the site. This site as already won the Weekly Website Award, so all they need to do now is to keep up the pace when it comes to updates. A little bit added every two weeks would be great. What they don't want to do is wait a two and a half months and then add the rest of the content then.


Mr. 3000
Current Content: The flash site launched this week and while there is still a lot of content marked coming soon, it has a strong foundation for a really good site. It has all the right content, (most marked coming soon, plenty of audio clips, animations and even a game, (also marked coming soon.)


National Lampoon's Gold Diggers
Current Content: A Pac Man style game was added to the site.


Paparazzi
Current Content: Nothing new was added since the flash site first launched.


Persons of Interest
Current Content: Simple but effective site that mirrors the movie itself.


The Pink Panther
Current Content: Just the synopsis so far and an animated intro that's worth checking out.


Raise Your Voice
Current Content: Hilary Duff's latest single, Fly, is now on the site, as are the lyrics to the song. The other addition to the site was inspirational words from Hilary and other members of the cast and crew and a list of Performing Arts programs.


Red Lights
Current Content: Typical Wellspring website.


Remember Me, My Love
Current Content: Simple site with no sound or animation, it does have most of the usual information.


Rockets Redglare!
Current Content: Nothing new since the site first launched.


Shark Tale
Current Content: The new trailer was added to the site.

My never ending quest to get that song stuck in everybody's head was made much easier this week with the launch of the Spongebob Squarepants! Movie flash site. Obviously this site is aimed at kids, (and drunk college students) and it really works well on their level, (it certainly kept my nephew entertained.) The site has all the regular features, at least for an animated movie, trailer, synopsis, character bios, etc. and plenty of stuff to download and places to explore. And a few sections marked coming soon, (Shell City, for one.) The site is nearly perfect for its target audience and thusly wins the Wackier Weekly Website Award.


Tae Guk Gi: The Brotherhood of War
Current Content: The movie opens tomorrow and the trailer hasn't been added to the site yet. I'll check back once more before I upload the column. … Nope.


Taxi
Current Content: The flash site launched and it has most of the usual features, synopsis, trailer, cast and crew, (no bios), image gallery. It does have character bios, and plenty of sound and animation. Unfortunately, almost all of the video clips come from the trailer, which makes me think there aren't enough good scenes in the film to fill out the site. There is also a game currently marked coming soon. Also, the background music is a little short and quickly becomes repetitive.


Team America
Current Content: Another Q&A clip, plus a TV Spot was added to the site.


Vanity Fair
Current Content: The film clips are still marked coming soon, but History and Script to Screen were added to the site to coincide with yesterday's opening.


Wicker Park
Current Content: The cast and crew bios and production notes were added to the site, probably a while ago since the site slipped off my radar.


Wimbledon
Current Content: The game was added to the site, and to no one's surprise, it was a game a tennis. It's a very fun game, but at my skill level, I obviously need to stick with junior.


Yes Nurse! No Nurse!
Current Content: You have to check out the trailer for this movie. It's like staring directly into the sun. You know you shouldn't, but you just can't help it.
