Full List of 2009 Oscar Winners

Every year since 1998, we've been asking The Numbers readers to predict who will win at the annual Academy Awards, and every year your predictions have been remarkably accurate. But this year ranks as our best year ever, with no less than 19 out 24 correct predictions and 17 out of 19 correctly predicted winners in the major categories (excluding the short films and foreign picture winners).

Once more, you correctly predicted the Best Picture winner, taking our lifetime score to ten out of twelve years correct. For Best Animated Feature, our score is now seven out of eight, thanks to WALL-E's win. Overall, the big night for Slumdog Millionaire and the presence of clear favorites in several of the technical categories clearly helped, but, by picking Penelope Cruz's win for Best Supporting Actress, Slumdog Millionaire's win for Cinematography and Spielzeugland's win for Best Live Action Short, you once again showed your inside-baseball knowledge.

We're currently contacting winners in our contest, but can announce the overall winner is Matt Priest of Chicago, IL, who scored a close-to-perfect 22 out of 24. The complete list of contest winners will be posted here soon.

Here's the complete list of this year's Oscar winners, along with the percentage of Numbers readers who predicted they would win in our Predict the Academy Awards competition.
