Synopsis

New York City air traffic controller Dylan Branson is the embodiment of a guy at the top of his game, until one day at 2:22pm, a blinding flash of light paralyzes him for a few crucial seconds as two passenger planes barely avoid a midair collision. Suspended from his job, Dylan begins to notice the increasingly ominous repetition of sounds and events in his life that happen at exactly the same time everyday. An underlying pattern builds, mysteriously drawing him into Grand Central Station everyday 2:22pm. As he’s drawn into a complex relationship with a beautiful woman who works in an art gallery, Sarah, disturbingly complicated by her ex-boyfriend Jonas, Dylan must break the power of the past, and take control of time itself.

The only other film in the $10,000 club was the overall first place film, Despicable Me 3, which earned an average of $15,993. More...

Limited and VOD Releases: Hours of Entertainment

June 30th, 2017

The Little Hours

It is not a great week for limited releases, as there are none that are expected to earn any measure of mainstream success. Okja is earning the loudest buzz, but it is playing on Netflix, so its box office chances are close to zero. The Little Hours has the best cast and its reviews are over 80% positive, but black comedies rarely do well in theaters. Finally, The B-Side is earning some of the best reviews, but documentaries rarely escape the art house circuit. More...
