Synopsis

After Ben wins the lottery, Lucy - his childhood crush - suddenly becomes obtainable. But she has a hidden agenda ... a desire to appropriate all of Ben's new found wealth. Not everything is as it seems and Lucy realizes that she may have married into more then she bargained for when she discovers Ben's past times include the occasional murder. As the bodies start to pile up, so do her problems and Lucy quickly appreciates that covering up for a fledgling serial killer is not as easy as it seems. If these newlyweds are going to make it work they will have to deal with some skeletons in their closet ... literally.

DVD and Blu-ray Releases for October 11th, 2011

October 12th, 2011

It's not a particularly strong week on the home market. The biggest first run release coming out this week is Horrible Bosses, which was a surprise $100 million hit. Green Lantern will likely be the best selling release of the week, but it disappointed with critics and at the box office. As far as the best of the best goes, The Tree of Life Blu-ray / DVD Combo Pack is the best bet as far as Pick of the Week goes, bu there are a few others that are worth picking up. There are also a couple of late arrivals that deserve honorable mentions this week: Castle: Season Three and Dumbo - Blu-ray Combo Pack. More...

Will Limited Releases be Defeated?

July 15th, 2011

It could be tough for limited releases this weekend. Not only is Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 2 going to dominate the box office, but both new wide releases are earning Oscar-worthy reviews, so there's not a lot of room for limited releases to survive in. Fortunately, both wide releases are aimed at families, so perhaps a more dramatic film like Life, Above All or a documentary like Tabloid! can find a niche market. More...
