Synopsis

Carl plans a weekend getaway to reconnect with wife Sue at the same lodge he spent countless weekends with his sexy ex. Worlds collide when they learn the ex now runs the B&B, and Carl is forced to face the one who got away.

Per Theater Chart: Sniper Expands Wide, but Still Secures Top Spot

American Sniper expanded wide, but it still earned first place on the per theater chart with an average of $25,111 in more than 3,000 theaters. Second place went to Still Alice, which opened with an average of $17,667 in 12 theaters. Those were the only two films to reach the $10,000 club over the three-day weekend, but Ode to me Father came close enough that it probably got there over the four-day weekend. More...

It is a really, really bad weekend to release a limited release. Not only do fans of art house cinema have a lot of films to choose from, but many of them are busy talking about the Oscar nominations, which were just announced. Even so, there are about a dozen limited releases on this week's list. I seriously doubt most of them will do well enough to make a real impact on the box office.
