Women in Trouble is an ensemble dramedy focusing on the intersecting lives of ten or eleven women in Los Angeles over the course of a day. Sort of like Short Cuts, but with porn stars and call girls, etc. The film's reviews were weak and its box office numbers were even weaker, but there are reports of a sequel called Elektra Luxx in the works and a planned third installment. One of the weakest weeks on the home market for a long while, with only one wide release of note. Granted, Law Abiding Citizen's performance at the box office was much better than expected, but it still only managed to become a midlevel hit.
