Terrifically well done for an independent and low budget movie.

I expected it might be a depressing evening, as we all knew before the film even started what it was about. Instead, there was a lot of clever humor, depth, insight, and compassion for human nature.

I could sit and look at Sandra Oh for hours, as she is fascinating to look at, and the other cast members did a great job with their parts. So nice to see Genevieve Bujold again, also. The story was told with some subtlety, as in the death of Patrick's sweetheart. The stories of the characters were nicely intertwined, the dialog perfectly real.

It turned out to be an interesting and engaging movie, touching and worthwhile.
