Synopsis

Josey Aimes (Charlize Theron) escapes her abusive marriage and returns to her hometown in North Minnesota to make a new start. Encouraged by her old friend Glory (Frances McDormand), she takes a job at the local iron mine. After being subjected to constant sexual harassment from her male co-workers, Aimes files a lawsuit against the mine. Based on the true story of the nation's first class action lawsuit for sexual harassment.
