As it usually this time of year, the selection of first run releases on the home market is rather weak, with only one certified hit: The Book of Eli. That's not to say there are not a lot of interesting releases, as we have many summer TV series hitting the home market ahead of their premieres. However, looking for the Pick of the Week we have to dig deep to find a mostly undiscovered gem: Mary & Max. Both the DVD and the Blu-ray are worth buying, but the latter is the better deal.
