Weekend Estimates: Bucket List Just Beats First Sunday

January 13th, 2008

If this was an election and we were CNN, we'd probably still be calling this weekend's box office race "too close to call". With weekend estimates in, The Bucket List heads the list with an estimated $19.54 million. That's just half a million or so ahead of First Sunday with $19 million, and final numbers could yet see the two positions reversed.

Among the other openers, The Pirates Who Didn't Do Anything had a weak start, earning $4.4 million, while In the Name of the King was, as expected DOA with $3.3 million.
