Labor Day Delay - 2007

September 3rd, 2007

It's Labor Day, and with no sense of irony, I'll be working all day. However, most everyone else will be having the day off and this will throw the regular schedule off for most of the week. Today's regularly scheduled DVD Release Report and Box Office Wrap-up will be pushed back till tomorrow. The Per Theater Averages and Contest Winning Announcement will be pushed back till Wednesday while the International Top Five will be published on Thursday. The rest of the columns should be unaffected.

In the meantime, here are the 3-day and 4-day weekend estimates:

  1. Halloween: $26.46 million / $31.01 million
  2. Superbad: $12.50 million / $15.60 million
  3. Balls of Fury: $11.35 million / $13.84 million
  4. The Bourne Ultimatum: $10.31 million / $13.19 million
  5. Rush Hour 3: $8.40 million / $10.38 million
  6. Mr. Bean's Holiday: $5.99 million / $8.10 million
  7. The Nanny Diaries: $5.11 million / $6.36 million
  8. Death Sentence: $4.23 million / $5.20 million
  9. War: $4.14 million / $5.14 million
  10. Stardust: $3.08 million / $3.90 million
