DVD Rentals - Summer Repeats

September 16th, 2007

There wasn't a single new release in the top five this week leaving the rankings identical to last week. This meant Blades of Glory remained in first place with $7.03 million in rental for the week and $16.50 after two. Wild Hogs grabbed second, barely, with $3.64 million giving it a four week total of $26.51 million. Perfect Stranger was just behind with $3.63 million and now has $13.60 million after three. Vacancy was fourth with $3.60 million for the week and $20.10 million after ten. Fracture was in fifth place, but with $3.46 million it was in striking distance of second place while its total of $20.26 million is just over half of what it earned theatrically.

Georgia Rule just missed the top five with $3.43 million while Delta Farce was right behind with $3.42 million. Bobby Z also did better than expected with $2.31 million placing ninth. Well back in 36th place was The Wind that Shakes the Barley with $720,000 while Stephanie Daley earned $530,000 for 50th place.
