A DVD Box set Worth Battling Nazi, Cults and Snakes

October 30th, 2003

Adventures of Indiana Jones DVD box set broke a couple of records in the first week of sales. The first day of sales saw 600,000 units sold and 1.1 million were sold by the end of the week. Both are records for box sets. And given an average retail price of $46.00 that works out to almost $28 million in sales on first day. If that were a single day box office would have put it just behind Finding Nemo for 19th place on the all-time chart.

This should ease a lot of worries about Indiana Jones's popularity regarding the upcoming sequel.
