Sheep Follow No One on the Per Theater Chart

April 10, 2007

Killer of Sheep saw its per theater average grow to $15,864 this weekend, which was enough to claim top spot just ahead of Black Book's average of $12,502.

The rest of the newcomers were led by The Hoax, which earned $6,167. This is enough to justify an expansion, but not a particularly wide one. Whole New Thing at $4,949 and The TV Set with $4,316 did respectable business. Finally there was Fighting Words with just $3,251, but that was better than expected.

This past week also saw milestones reached for a couple Per Theatre Charts alumni:

  • Namastey London just crossed the $1 million mark this weekend.
  • Slow and steady has helped Miss Potter reach $2 million more than three months after it was first released.
  • The Namesake reached $5 million midweek and is well on its way to $10 million.
