Contest: Vote Early, Vote Often: Winning Announcement

November 7, 2012

The winners of our Vote Early, Vote Often contest were determined and they are...

Me!

Yes, I missed only two states. It turns out North Carolina wasn't as close as I thought, although it was still quite close. Meanwhile, despite my dire predictions, Ohio managed to hold an election without screwing up so much they accidentally summoned the Dark Lord Cthulhu. Additionally, third party candidates did a little better than expected, resulting a 0.8% difference in Obama's popular vote percentage and a 0.4% difference in Romney's popular vote. As such, I am the winner of The American President on Blu-ray and Dave on Blu-ray.

Congratulations to me and thanks to everyone else for entering.

[Ed Note: You can't win the prize.]

Why not?

[Ed Note: Because you work for The Numbers, you live in Canada, and technically you didn't post your prediction till after the contest closed.]

... Good point. In that case, the winners are...

Ken G, of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and Mark C. Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, both of whom win The American President on Blu-ray and Dave on Blu-ray.

Congratulations to the winners, and thank you to all of those who entered. Don't forget to enter our Sky is Falling contest, which is currently underway. Meanwhile, this Friday our next contest will feature merchandise from Friends. This is actually relevant, because the Blu-ray Megaset is coming out this week.
