Eddie MurphyAbout Eddie MurphyEddie Murphy is one of the many comedians that started out a succesful movie career with Saturday Night Live. It was in 1984 when he became a superstar with his portrayal of Axel Foley in Beverly Hills Cop. After a succesful period he followed with a number of box office failures in the late '80s and early '90s, however in the second half of the '90s he did star in the succesful Nutty Professor and Doctor Dolittle franchises and went on to voice Donkey in the Shrek franchise, incidentally making him the only actor to appear in all movies of 5 different franchises.
