Samuel L. Jackson
About Samuel L. Jackson
Being a great actor doesn't automatically make you a famous actor. Samuel L. Jackson played roles like "Gang Member #2", "Hold-Up Man" and "Black Guy" before director Spike Lee gave him a chance to show his quality in three of his movies. It was in 1995 when he received a best supporting oscar nomination for his role in Quentin Tarantino's Pulp Fiction and started to become really famous.
Rather than slow him down, Jackson has since become one of the most prolific actors in Hollywood, often appearing in 4 or more movies a year.
Not just that, the fact that a lot of them are box office hits makes him destined to take over Harrison Ford's number 1 position on The-Numbers' All Time Top Stars at the Box Office List. Since 2004's The Incredibles, he has taken top spot and with movies like the next installments in the highly succesful xXx and Star Wars franchiseshe is bound to stay on top for a while.
