Adventures in Babysitting is the 100th Disney Channel original movie and while it doesn't come out on DVD yet, I'm reviewing it this weekend. Why? Because it debuts on TV on Friday the 24th. I figured it was better to get the review done before it airs and I rarely have enough time to publish a review mid-week. So how does this remake compare to the original?

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs is a movie I swear I've reviewed. Maybe I've reviewed so many Disney classics that I can no longer remember which ones I've reviewed and which ones I haven't. This film is absolutely a classic in both senses of the word. It is the first feature-length cell-animated film, first hitting theaters nearly 80 years ago. Additionally, it is widely considered one of the best feature-length animated films of all times. However, part of that is due to nostalgia and how ground-breaking it was. If you ignore the age and the technological marvel it was at the time, does it still live up? Or has it aged poorly.

Descendants is the latest Disney Channel Original Movie and the channel is on a roll with their previous such release, Teen Beach 2, doing well with critics and with viewers. We already know Descendants was a hit in the ratings (there's even a TV spin-off in the works). However, did it earn this success? Or is it a case of hype more than quality.
