SpongeBob SquarePants: Season Six, Volume 2 - Buy from Amazon
At times it feels like SpongeBob SquarePants puts out more DVDs every year than they do episodes. There's special themed DVDs like 10 Happiest Moments, or mostly chronological individual releases like Truth or Square, Viking-Sized Adventure, and Triton's Revenge. Why did I mention those three specifically?
Because this two-disc set includes the episodes from those previous releases, starting with...

Last Stand
Eagle-eyed readers will notice that Truth or Square, Tentacle-Vision, and I Heart Dancing are not present, despite being on the four DVDs above. That's because Truth or Square was on the previous volume of season six, while the other two are from season seven.
The extras on this two-disc set include a 2-minute Bollywood music video, which is fun. How to make SpongeBob SquarePants is a five-minute instructional video on how to make a SpongeBob SquarePants with a standard kitchen sponge. I'm temped to make one, except I don't have a sponge. Finally, there are a couple "Clash of the Titon: Shorts, which are too short.
Buying the SpongeBob SquarePants: Season Six, Volume 2 is like buying two of the single-disc releases, and getting the others for $1 each. Hard to top that value. On the other hand, there are one or two extras on each of the individual releases, most of which are missing here, so if you own the previous ones, you'll want to hang onto those.
The Show
Episodes on this DVD included Porous Pockets, Choir Boys, Krusty Krushers, and The Card.
From this DVD we get Dear Vikings, Ditchin', Pineapple Fever, Chum Caverns, Grandpappy the Pirate, Cephalopod Lodge, Shuffleboarding, and Professor Squidward.
The screener for this DVD never arrived, so I actually get review these episodes...
Triton's Revenge - Review
While playing, SpongeBob and Patrick disturb the home of a sea worm and SpongeBob decides to take it home with him, till its home grows back. However, Gary and "Mr. Wormsley" get into a fight, so Gary has to be kept in the guest room. But it turns out that Mr. Wormsley is Mrs. Wormsley, and she's given birth to puppies, SpongeBob has to find them homes after Gary chases their mother away.
This episode is a little on the gross side, not that that's an insult given the target audience. However, the ending is a little weak and doesn't match its build up.
After heaping scorn on Karen, Plankton chases her away. But that's okay, because he has new robots, robots that combine into the ultimate weapon for destroying the Krusty Krab. And now without Karen holding him back, he's sure to succeed, right?
The banter between Plankton and Karen is good, as is his showdown with the Krusty Krab. I also like the anti-climactic ending, although it does suggest that with a single modification, that plan could work. He should try it again.
Mr. Krabs needs a manicure and he can only get an appointment during the middle of the day, so he leaves SpongeBob in charge. What could possibly go wrong? A lot. Specifically, he listens to Squidward's really bad advice.
Another fun episode, but not one that breaks a lot of new ground.
SpongeBob is asked to be a test subject for Sandy's latest invention, build a telescope for Mr. Krabs, and it's Patrick's Birthday. All on the same day. All at the same time!
Basically its 11 minutes of SpongeBob running around getting more and more frantic. Fortunately, there's enough gags that it never runs out of steam.
Tired of having to wait for SpongeBob to get off work to play, Patrick decides to get a job of his own. At first he's hired by Mr. Krabs to stand around and hold a sign, but when his work hat keeps causing him to fall over, Mr. Krabs hires him to be the entertainment, "The Falling Fool".
It's always rare when you watch an episode where SpongeBob is the sane one, but that's the case here.
SpongeBob and Patrick have a wonderful day at the new toy store, The Toy Barrell, so much so that they decide to hide so they get locked inside. However, once the lights go out, they start to freak out. ... Then they fight back.
Mostly just silliness, but the big reveal in the end, and SpongeBob and Patrick's reaction to it, was worth it.
Continuing with episodes I've reviewed, this DVD had: The Clash of the Triton, Sand Castles in the Sand, Shell Shocked, Chum Bucket Supreme, and Single Cell Anniversary.
