The Show

  1. Diego the Hero!
    Diego gets an emergency call from Alicia. She's on a boat in the antarctic trying to rescue some sick and injured penguins. The boat's stuck in the ice and she needs Diego and Baby Jaguar's help to get the penguins back to rescue central before it's too late.
  2. Cotton-Top Tamarin Cave Rescue
    Diego and Alicia are in Columbia visiting the cotton-top tamarin, which lives in the rainforests there. They are there to plant new trees, because that's where the tamarin live. This important job is interrupted when one of the tamarin becomes separated from the group and is lost. Now Diego has to rescue it and bring it back.
  3. Bengal Tiger Makes a Wish
    Diego is in India after a monsoon to help any animal that is in trouble. And sure enough, he finds one. In fact, he sees Benji the Bengal Tiger, whom he helped in a previous episode. He was separated from his mother as the result of the rain and Deigo has to help him get to the wishing tree, which is where Benji's mother will be.
  4. Diego Saves Baby Humpback Whale
    The episode starts with Diego looking for Baby Jaguar, but that's not the main rescue for the episode. Diego and Baby Jaguar have to travel and rescue a beached humpback whale. That's a big rescue, but they will have help.
  5. Jorge the Little Hawk Learns to Migrate
    Diego and Alicia are helping raise baby hawks, and one of them, Jorge the Hawk, is old enough to begin the migration. Like all little hawks, he has to follow big hawks, but after Jorge crashes, he misses his chance to fly with the big hawks. Now it's up to Diego to get a plane to be his guide.
  6. Egyptian Camel Adventure
    Diego travels all the way to Egypt to talk with Medina, a local animal rescuer, who will teach Diego about desert animals. While there, a drought that causes the river to dry out. Fortunately the wise Jamal, the camel's teacher, tells them how to get the rain back, but it will still be a difficult mission.

There are no extras on the DVD.

The Verdict

Despite having no extras, Go, Diego, Go!: Diego Saves the World! is a better deal than a lot of similar releases, since its price-per-minute is quite a bit lower. If your kids are big fans of the show and you picked up some of the previous releases, then this one is worth grabbing as well.
