Synopsis

A wealthy American couple tours Greece in the 1960’s. There they meet a con-artist who becomes entranced with the couple’s wealth and beauty. A sudden accident puts all three in danger as they set off through Greece, and the trio’s allegiance is put to the test.

There were only three films in the $10,000 club and it was a holdover leading the way. Not Cool pulled in $24,964 in one theater for a two-weekend total of $35,688. The best new release was Pride with an average of $13,662 in six theaters. The list of new releases is a little calmer this week than it was last week. There are still a few movies that could do well. The Two Faces of January has some of the best reviews and has an impressive cast, but it is also playing on Video on Demand, so its box office numbers might not shine. On the other hand, I think Pride will turn its excellent reviews into a long run on limited release. It might even find a significant measure of mainstream success. More...
