DVD Sales: Going Downto(w)n

New releases earned the top four spots on the DVD Sales Chart. Fury led the way in terms of units sold at 355,000 units to 302,000 units over Downton Abbey: Season 5. However, Downton Abbey earned first place in terms of revenue at $7.40 million to $6.20 million. The Judge earned third spot during its first week of release with 187,000 units / $2.85 million. The Book of Life was right behind with 174,000 units / $2.83 million. Lucy fell to fifth place with 129,000 units / $2.26 million over the week for totals of 496,000 / $7.77 million after two weeks of release.

There were only two other new releases in the top 30. Justice League: Throne of Atlantis opened in ninth place with 50,000 units / $700,000. Meanwhile, Before I Go to Sleep opened in 15th place with 22,000 units / $275,000.
