SpongeBob SquarePants: SpongeBob, You're Fired! is a little different than most SpongeBob SquarePants DVDs. It has more than 3 hours of episodes, starting with...

The Show

  1. SpongeBob, You're Fired!
SpongeBob is fired, because Mr. Krabs wants to save a nickel. Squidward is absolutely thrilled, but SpongeBob takes it really hard. Patrick teaches SpingeBob how to be "Funemployed". After that fails, Sandy Cheeks tells him he needs to get a job. But what can he do?
  2. Neptune's Spatula
I swear I reviewed this one before, but I can't seem to find the link. SpongeBob and Patrick are are at the Fry Cook museum when they see the Golden Spatula, Neptune's Spatula. When SpongeBob pulls out the spatula, Neptune arrives. At first he doesn't believe SpongeBob is the chosen one, so he challenges him to a cooking duel.
  3. Welcome to the Chum Bucket

  4. The Original Fry Cook

  5. Le Big Switch

  6. Model Sponge
    I reviewed this episode here.
  7. Employee of the Month
    I reviewed this episode here.
  8. Bossy Boots
    I reviewed this episode here.
  9. Krusty Dogs
    I reviewed this episode here.
  10. License to Milkshake
SpongeBob's Milkshake License expired seven years ago, so he has to be back to school to re-learn how to milkshake. However, milkshake technology has changed a lot and SpongeBob is out of his depth.
  11. Help Wanted
The Pilot Episode, which has appeared on a number of DVDs.
  12. Wet Painters
Mr. Krabs gets SpongeBob and Patrick and gets them to use permanent paint. If they get one drop on his prize possessions, he will cut off their butts and hang them on the wall.
  13. Krusty Krab Training Video
The crew of the Krusty Krab star in a training video.
  14. Pizza Delivery
    I reviewed this episode here.

The Extras

There are no extras on the DVD. Also, some of the episodes are widescreen, but non-anamorphic widescreen.

The Verdict

SpongeBob SquarePants: SpongeBob, You're Fired! is twice as long as the average SpongeBob disc, but at the same price. Granted, half of them appeared on DVDs I've reviewed, so there's a lot of double-dipping here.
