Theater Counts

June 16th, 2005

This weekend is going to be all about Batman Begins, which is opening in 3,858 theaters nationwide -- the widest ever opening for Warner Bros, and sixth largest in history. That should guarantee strong numbers, but the jury is out on whether a huge weekend is in store (Wednesday's opening was good, but not spectacular). The Perfect Man meanwhile opens in a much more modest 2,026 theaters.
