Theater Counts

September 9th, 2005

September might be a slow month for the movie industry in terms of overall box office, but this year it's shaping up to be a big month in terms of the number of releases. 28 movies debut over the next two weeks, with 14 opening this weekend. Most are independent releases, aiming for a good art house run, and only two movies open wide: this week's expected number one, The Exorcism of Emily Rose and comedy The Man.
