Regal Cinemas Partner With How Stuff Works

In continuing its bid to create a bigger and better movie going experience, Regal Cinema has joined forces with the famous How Stuff Works domain parent company Convex Group. Under a newly signed agreement, content supplier, Convex Group will provide Regal with a series of short and intriguing How Stuff Works, segments as well as content for the thousands of plasma screen units adorning most Regal Cinema lobbies.

Incorporated with the general How Stuff Works content, will be a combination of digital media interests covering sports, entertainment, and educational elements dubbed the DCN (Digital Content Network).  The agreement includes the packaging of CD-ROMS and snacks providing yet another movie complimenting venue as well as another means of collecting advertising dollars. The deal between Regal Cinemas, who’s theaters account for 20% of a movies domestic box office receipts, and the Convex Group, who now owns exclusive content delivery and In Lid CD-ROM rights, represents one of the largest partnerships of its kind.
