Station Agent has Big Opening Weekend.

The Station Agent, which stars 4'5" Peter Dinklage had a huge weekend leading the per theatre average charts with $57,785 in 3 theatres for an average of $19,262. The three-time winner at the 2003 Sundance Film Festival could see a lot of business in the future, but it is too soon to tell if it will be mainstream, or relegated to art houses.

Two films were close behind with Wonderland, the story of porn star John Holmes made $91,798 in 5 theatres for an average of $18,360. Yossi & Jagger, still playing in only one theatre pulled in $16,100 in its second weekend to place third.

In its third weekend Bubba Ho-Tep opened huge in L.A. taking in nearly $30 thousand at Landmark's Nuart Theater alone. Overall it earned an estimated $90,000 in 8 theatres for an estimated average of $11,250. Exact figures will be added to the data base when available.
