Synopsis
The American James White finds himself in an unexpected situation in Switzerland when he is mistaken for the missing sculptor Anatol Stiller and arrested. Contrary to the authorities’ claims, James insists that he is actually James White. During the investigation, a close bond develops between James and Julika, Anatol Stiller’s wife. With every rapprochement between the two, more and more questions arise about the true identity of the mysterious American.
