Synopsis

Susie Quinn and Bobbie Roberts have been best friends ever since they can remember — and ever since they can remember, they’ve wanted to be popular at school. As juniors at Clovis Central High, they simply cannot bear another year of boredom and blahdom. They are bound and determined to transform from invisible geeks to confident goats at school. Periodt. Taking matters into their own hands, they pursue the road to popularity — social media fame, designer clothes, new looks, new walks, new slang, and new sass — only to experience high profile fails time after time. They are humiliated in front of the trend-setting “it” kids known as the Pop Girls, who Susie and Bobbie both admire and fear, especially the head “CP” (center-position) of the Pop Girls, Vicki Reinhart. On their journey, attempts will backfire, loyalties will shift, and Susie and Bobbie will stumble and crash their way into the public eye — for better or for worse
