Synopsis
Elsa is an advertising executive whose mother dies during the long December holidays. She works incessantly and doesn’t realize she’s not taking the time to grieve the loss of her mother. After a moment of crisis, Elsa travels to the island of Lanzarote with her friend Patricia. Her story runs parallel to that of a screenwriter and director, illustrating how life and fiction are inextricably intertwined, sometimes in painful ways.
