Synopsis

Like many romantics, Billie Golden yearns for the glamorous days of classic Hollywood musicals. She daydreams about being a great singer, but in reality she works as a waitress and sings at a seedy airport cocktail lounge. Her love life, however, is the stuff of movie melodrama: She must decide between dashing lawyer Greg Ellenbogen, who dismisses her aspirations, and Elliot, a hip piano player who is more supportive of her singing.
