Synopsis

Clara, a lonely nurse from the outskirts of São Paulo, is hired by mysterious and wealthy Ana to be the nanny of her soon to be born child. Against all odds, the two women develop a strong bond. But a fateful night marked by a full moon changes their plans.

The next closest film was a fellow documentary, McQueen, which earned an average of $16,692 in five theaters during its second weekend of release. It’s too late to get a boost from summer vacations while trying to expand, but it is way too early for Awards Season buzz.
