Synopsis
The body of a middle school student, Su-Jin, is found at an abandoned public bathhouse. Her father, Sang-Hyeon, quietly drowns in emotions while mourning for his daughter. One day, Sang-Hyeon receives an anonymous text clueing him into the killer’s whereabouts. When he searches the apartment address, he comes upon Cheol-Yong, a student, watching a video of himself raping and killing Su-Jin. In a rage of unspeakable grief and anger, the father extinguishes Cheol-Yong’s life. And after he recovers his senses, Sang-Hyeon realizes that Cheol-Yong could not have been the only person responsible for Su-Jin’s death. With this knowledge, the father sets out to exact the revenge he owes his wronged daughter. Meanwhile, Eok-Gwan, the hard-bitten detective examining the Cheol-Yong murder scene, realizes what has probably happened and must lead the investigation to capture Sang-Hyeon, despite his own moral misgivings about the true identity of the criminal and the victim. In these side by side manhunts, will the scales of justice or the hands of a vigilante prevail?
