Synopsis
Breakaway is a new comedic drama about family, tradition, growing up and...hockey. Rajveer Singh has the talent to be one of the nation's top hockey players, but he has one problem: his father's devotion to work and family forbids him to play. Now, with the help of an unlikely new coach & former NHL'er; Coach Winters, along with the coach's 'off-limits' kid sister and in spite of being constantly undermined by his entitled cousin, he’s putting together an unlikely all-Sikh hockey team behind his father's back. However, when his team make an unexpected run for the Cup, and with the entire Sikh community inspired, Rajveer has to choose between playing on, or respecting his father's withes.
