Synopsis
Johanne is seventeen and has an inner world of emotions and unexpressed desires. When she falls in love with her French teacher, the boundary between dream and reality becomes increasingly blurred. To organize her feelings, Johanne begins to write a detailed diary, transforming her experiences into words that pulsate with passion, fear and discovery. When her mother and grandmother read those pages, their first reaction is dismay. But they soon realize that Johanne's words have an authentic, almost literary force. The diary thus becomes the starting point for a generational comparison on love, desire and freedom of expression.
